Post a Rememberance of Lee

Bay Music BIO: Lee Mallory is a phenomenon. As a solo performer and member of the MILLENNIUM and SAGGITARIUS Lee helped CURT BOETTCHER and GARY USHER define the Soft-pop California style.... Lee took a left turn into writing and production with Boettcher, and became the first member of the latter's 'supergroup' THE MILLENNIUM.

"There is a timeless element to his music, which he delivers in a wise & slightly graveled voice through cordplay [sic] that hasn't lost a beat in the 40+ years he's been performing. Mallory looks out over his glasses like the wise musical professor he is, and his beautiful old eyes and facial expressions teach as much as his musical message pleases."

Condolences from Tommy Roe
Nina Jo writes: " I contacted Tommy Roe to see if he remembered Lee. Lee had sung on the B side of Tommy's hit, Sweet Pea. Here's his sweet reply:"

Hi Nina:
I surely do remember Lee..Great guy, great song writer. I'm so sorry to hear about Lee passing away, and I send my condolences to you, his family, and friends. We were all so young in the mid sixties, with dreams of music success, and I believe we were lucky to be around when so much great music was being written, and recorded. Lee was definitely a part of that experience, and contributed to all the beautiful memories I have of that magical period.

Thanks for your e-mail, and I wish you all the best.
Tommy
