Wandering aimlessly thru the backstreets of Vegas
livin’ on the edge of time, my life seemed so worthless
less than the value of this one thin dime
I found deep down at the bottom of my pocket
there’s this really fine woman I know
with girl of my dreams-type stuff
I’m so bent on which way she’ll go
could she be all she seems
or is this just another empty dream

but molasses pastures bog down my mind

these pagan chants that never seem to rhyme
